*~* Tenshi *~* My nickname is Tenshi, but my real name is Heather. I'm in my mid 20s and recently obtained my B.A. in Studio Art. I work as a graphic designer for a busy web company. If you would like to know more about me, you can check out my Livejournal. My biggest hobby is cosplay and sewing. I've been creating costumes for myself and my friends since 2001. Sewing is a huge creative outlet for me :). One of the biggest reasons why I wanted a BJD was to be able to sew for it. Sewing for a doll takes a LOT less fabric (and therefore a lot less money!) than sewing for a human being. My dolls were expensive, but I'll probably end up saving money in the long run! If you want to see my work for people, please visit my cosplay site Angelic Threads. I had a fair amount of dolls when I was little, but I don't remember liking them any more than the average girl. My love of dolls started when I was introduced to Sailor Moon. As my enjoyment of the show increased, I began collecting merchandise dedicated to the Pretty Soldiers. I always loved my dolls the best :). I discovered Super Dollfies around 2002 or 2003. I instantly loved them, and I still think they (and other Asian BJDs) are some of the most beautiful dolls the world over. However, I was a little hesitant to buy one, since they are so expensive. I decided not to buy one unless I knew 100% that I really wanted it. Fast forward to the end of 2005. My interest in BJDs was only growing stronger. So when I had saved up a little extra money, I took the plunge and bought Akiko. From the moment I opened her box it was love at first sight! I'm glad I waited to buy one, because I appreciated it so much more when I finally had her :).
